Buying Trex IPTV, from the order page to the first channel
Everything you are asked for, why it is asked for, and what happens the moment your payment clears. Trex IPTV is bought once per term rather than subscribed to, so there is nothing to cancel later and nothing held on file against your card.
Five things to settle in advance
None of them needs research. Settling them before you open the form is simply the difference between an order that takes forty seconds and one that takes ten minutes with a false start in the middle.
How long you are buying for
Every plan is a single payment covering a fixed number of months. The longer terms cost less per month; the shorter ones commit less money. The figures are all on the plans page and the order form reads from the same list.
How many screens play at once
One subscription carries one stream at a time. Two televisions running together in the same evening need two, and the second one that starts while the first is playing will otherwise be refused. Count the overlap rather than the hardware in the house.
Which region sorts your playlist
USA & Canada, Europe & UK, or Arabic & MENA. This decides what sits at the top of your channel list, not what you are permitted to watch or where you may watch it from. Choose it on what you watch most evenings.
What you will be watching on
Almost every app takes a login or a playlist link and needs nothing from you at order time. A MAG set-top box is the exception: it is registered to its own MAC address, so that address has to go on the order. The devices page says which side yours falls on.
Every field, and why it is there
The form is short on purpose. Nothing on it is marketing data and nothing is passed anywhere it does not need to go — the privacy policy sets out what is kept and for how long.
Name, email and phone
The email is the important one, because it receives the credentials and matches you to your order later. Check it twice. The phone number is how we reach you if a payment needs confirming, and the country code matters for exactly that reason.
Plan and device count
The plan sets the term. The device count sets how many separate lines are created, each with its own username and password, so people can watch different things simultaneously. The total updates as you change either one.
Playlist sorting
The region choice. It is written into each line as it is created, which is why it is asked here and not left as a setting to flip afterwards. If you are unsure, the channels page describes what each region opens on.
How you will watch
Leave it on the standard option and you receive a server address, a username, a password and a ready-made playlist link. Choose the MAG option and a MAC address field appears, formatted like the example beside it, colons included.
There is also an optional adult category switch, which is off unless you turn it on. It changes which package your line is built from, so it is a choice made at order time rather than a filter you toggle in an app.
What happens when you press the button
Your order is reserved
Before you go anywhere near a card, the order is written down under a reference beginning TRXZ-. It exists from that moment, which is what makes a dropped connection an inconvenience rather than a lost purchase.
Your bank takes over
You are handed to our payment provider and then to your own bank's 3-D Secure page. Card numbers are entered there, on your bank's own screen. They never pass through this website and we never see or store them.
The cleared payment activates
The confirmation comes back to us and triggers the activation panel directly. Nobody approves it by hand, which is why the wait is measured in minutes rather than in how busy the day is.
Four values and where to put them
They reach your inbox and appear on the tracking page at the same moment, so a missing email never means a missing subscription.
Server address
The host your player connects to. It is the only value that ever changes, and only if you move to one of the mirrors listed with your order.
Username and password
Your line's identity for the life of the subscription, including across a renewal. Keep them somewhere the household can find without asking you.
Playlist link
The same details wrapped into one URL, for apps and for VLC, where a login screen is not offered.
Programme guide link
The guide feed, so your player shows what is on now and next instead of a bare list of channel names.
Entering them app by app is covered on the setup page, which also explains how to move to a different host if one gets congested.
Three things that occasionally happen
Nothing in the inbox
Check the spam folder, then open the tracking page with your reference and the email address you ordered with. Both have to match, which is what stops anyone else pulling up your details.
The payment was declined
Nothing has been taken and your order is still waiting under its reference. Banks decline international card payments more often than people expect; a second attempt, or a different card, usually clears it.
You picked the wrong region
Tell us early. The region belongs to the line as it was created, so it is changed at our end rather than in your app — quick to do, and quickest of all before you have set up four devices.
Buying again when the term runs out
A renewal extends the subscription you already have rather than issuing a fresh one, so every device in the house keeps working with nothing retyped. Order with the same email address you used the first time and tell us it is a renewal, and the existing line is the one that moves. If you would rather sell subscriptions than buy one, the reseller page explains how that works instead, and the terms cover the rest of the small print.
Asked before almost every order
How long does activation take?
Usually a couple of minutes. The activation panel is triggered by the cleared payment itself rather than by a member of staff, so nothing waits for office hours. If ten minutes pass with nothing in your inbox, check the spam folder and then the order tracking page before you write in.
What do I need before I start the order?
A plan length, the number of screens that will be playing at the same time, which region you want your playlist sorted by, an email address you can read within a few minutes, and the MAC address of your box if you are ordering for a MAG. Nothing else is asked for.
Can I pay for two devices on one order?
Yes. Choose the number of devices on the order page and a separate line is created for each one, so two people can watch different things at the same time. The price scales with the count, because each line is a full subscription rather than an add-on to the first.
Why does my bank statement show a different currency?
Prices are quoted in US dollars and our payment provider settles in Egyptian pounds, so your bank may convert on the way and show a figure that looks unfamiliar. The amount charged is the one you agreed to on the order page.
The payment failed. Has my order gone?
No. The order is written down under its own reference before you are sent to the payment page, so a declined card or a dropped connection leaves it waiting rather than destroying it. Start again from the order page, or send us the reference on the contact page and we will look at it.
